Redan Publishing has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of a new Playmobil magazine.
The firm says that the title will look to traditional values and characters, 'to transport children into a world of creative play, where they can let their imaginations run wild'.
Each issue will be packed with stories and activities, with an emphasis on learning through fun. The magazine will also come with an exclusive, collectable covermounted figure.
Each title will also be themed around a specific play-set with the first issue focusing on Pirates. There will also be a pull-out poster and the chance to win Playmobil prizes.
"We are proud to be working with such a trusted and well-known toy brand which parents and children adore," said Julie Jones, publishing director at Redan. "The themes and collectable figurines allow children's imaginations to run wild, whilst the magazine format will help to encourage reading amongst children."
Jamie Dickinson, marketing manager at Playmobil, added: "We are delighted that Redan will be publishing Playmobil Magazine in the UK. The title has proved incredibly popular across Europe and we hope that the combination of engaging editorial content and the exclusive Playmobil figure covermount will lead to similar success in the UK.
Playmobil Magazine will retail at £3.99 with the first issue available now.
