Re:creation hires Ian Wickham

Re:creation has confirmed the appointment of its first Sales Director, Ian Wickham, who arrives from BBC Worldwide.

Previously at Tomy, Wickham will start his new role on December 19th to lead the sales team into 2012.

Speaking about his new recruit, Re:creation director Michael Lehrter said: "We are delighted to welcome someone of the calibre and experience of Ian to Re:creation and look forward to him leading our future sales strategy."

Toy Fair in January will see the official unveiling of Re:creation’s new corporate identity. Co-director Seth Bishop commented: "The original visual image of the company was created over 10 years ago and with the pace of evolution in both our business and the market over that time we wanted to update our brand to reflect the energy, creativity and passion that is stronger now in the business than it has ever been."

Re:creation’s has also added three new non-executive directors in the fields of finance, logistics and television broadcasting.
