Re:creation is expanding its licensed Lego range of products as it moves into 2012, adding new themes to its light collection as well as a stationery offering.

The firm has sold some two million units of its Lego Lights since launch, and will be adding the Lego Star Wars and Lego Ninjago character themes next year.

Products will include a variety of posable Darth Vader lights such as the Darth Vader Key Light (£6.99), Darth Vader Torch with a detachable light saber (£19.99) and a Darth Vader Desk Lamp featuring a 19cm high Minifigure, 12 LED lightsaber and optional USB power supply (£34.99).

In addition, Re:creation is readying its first line of Lego stationery for the UK, alongside a back to school offer, including lunch bags and drinks bottles.

Stationery will include pencils, Minifigure pens, brick shaped erasers, Minifigure head markers, colouring pencils, pencil cases, folders, notebooks and journals, plus sets of stationery essentials. Re:creation will unveil the full range at London Toy Fair in January 2012.

“Re:creation’s mission is to select desirable products and brands that marry innovation with high quality, on-trend products that are fun and value for money,” brand manager Mary Captieux told ToyNews. “The addition of Lego Star Wars and Lego Ninjago themes to the lights collection answers growing consumer demand for these top licences, while the Lego stationery range takes this fantastic brand into a new and exciting category.”
