The October licensing special issue of ToyNews is available to read online, on your iPad, laptop or smart device now.

This month, with Brand Licensing Europe kicking off this week, ToyNews dives into the world of licensing to cover some very new ground with an in-depth look at how children’s brands and children’s entertainment are opening conversations around mental health.

We take the chance to talk to some of the brands leading the way in bringing new messages of inclusivity to kids’ media as well as the toy space as we chat with Beano Studios, Sesame Workshop, Anna Williamson and the up and coming game developers, Book of Beasties.

Where there is ground to be covered, ToyNews will always proudly go there.

We also chat with The Toy Association’s Steve Pasierb for the latest developments form the US toy industry and what the organisation is doing to take a stand against the ever approaching threat of tariffs.

If you’re heading to Brand Licensing Europe this year, be sure to pick up your copy for our extensive look at the things you don’t want to miss at the show.

Of course, you can expect ToyNews’s usual line up of industry leading opinion, analysis and more in the October issue and it’s all here to be read now.
