Ravensburger is the longest-standing Thomas licensee and has worked on the property for over 25 years.

It plans to develop a new range of high quality cardboard and wooden jigsaws based on HIT’s Thomas CGI style guide.

The new Thomas & Friends jigsaw puzzle range will be available for the 2011 autumn/winter season.

Laura Clarke, senior director, UK & EMEA licensing, Hit Entertainment, said: “We’re delighted to continue working with Ravensburger on the Thomas & Friends brand. We very much look forward to seeing the new line of jigsaws which will be the first to feature the new CG-animated series.”

Ravensburger managing director Tim Hall added: “Lots of consumers have grown up with our Thomas & Friends jigsaws and are now buying them for their own families.

"We are really looking forward to continuing our long partnership with Hit, and are confident our new range of exciting puzzles will prove to be as popular as ever.”
