Last weekend Rapunzel was officially inducted into the Disney Princesses club in a star-studded ceremony at Kensington Palace.

Celebs, competition winners and VIPs turned up to celebrate the Tangled star's coronation. Nicole Richie, Damien Lewis and Peter Andre bought their families along to see the show.

Rapunzel joins Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pochahontas, Snow White and Tiana – meaning there are now ten Disney Princesses in total.

The ceremony was followed by a horse-drawn procession through Kensington Gardens as well as a red carpet party.

Kensington Palace - the setting for Kate and Will's wedding - was picked by Disney for its royal heritage. The event was run with help from the Historic Royal Palaces.
