Professor Puzzle is celebrating after winning the Branded/Character category at this year's Gift of the Year Awards.

The firm picked up the accolade for its Metal Earth Star Wars 3D Model Kits, with sales manager Stephen Woodman believing that it is the detailed quality of the products, their unique design and value for money which led to them being awarded the gong.

"Part of a much wider range of Metal Earth products, the Metal Earth Star Wars range offers eight different 3D steel model kits with amazing detail and clear instructions for assembly," he said. "Once completed, every owner will, I am sure, be proud to display their collection.

"In the short time since launch, these have already proved extremely popular with our wide and diverse client base and are certain to be hot this year with the next Star Wars film release, The Force Awakens."

Ben Meldrum, director at Professor Puzzle, added: "We knew immediately when we saw the Metal Earth range at the Hong Kong Toy Fair, that the products would be a huge hit in the UK.

"We are proud and delighted to be associated with the Gift Association and to be the winner of this prestigious award."
