Playmobil's Malta factory played host to two very special visitors this week.

On Tuesday November 20th Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex visited the Playmobil production unit in Hal Far.

They were there to meet young adults who graduated from the Inspire Foundation for Inclusion Adult Training and Employment Centre. They were accompanied by the British High Commissioner in Malta, Rob Luke and his wife Louise.

The visit one of the Prince’s official engagements before opening the 11th International Award Forum in his role as chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh Award's International Council.

Over the years, Playmobil has welcomed many important guests. This year alone, they have enjoyed visits from EU Commissioner, Mr. John Dalli and German Politician, Horst Seehofer, who was given a specially made Playmobil figure of German chancellor, Angela Merkel.
