Playmobil is celebrating two nominations in the MadeforMums Awards 2017, starting with the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (pictured) which has been shortlisted for 'Best Toy Vehicle’, adding to the success of the current range.

Launched earlier this year as part of the new licensed Ghostbusters range, the Ecto-1 comes complete with lights, siren, sticky slime, a detachable roof – as well as four characters.

Meanwhile, the Playmobil My Take Along Farm, has been shortlisted for the Best Travel Toy award.

The My Take Along Farm forms part of the popular Playmobil 1.2.3 range, a collection of toys suitable for toddlers aged 18 months and above. The carry case style of the set means children can enjoy their own farmland wherever they go and everything can be easily stowed away inside avoiding losing any pieces plus the handle makes it ideal for transporting.

“We are delighted and honoured to have been shortlisted in these fantastic awards," commented Jamie Dickinson, marketing manager at Playmobil. "Both of the products shortlisted have been a hit over the year, and it’s great to see them being recognised in these awards. We look forward to seeing the final outcome later this year.”

This year will mark the second annual MadeforMums Awards, with the date for announcing winners is still to be confirmed.
