Playmobil’s Specials Plus toys will make their UK debut next spring.

The range of 12 toys – priced at £2.99 each – is currently available in Playmobil’s home country Germany.

The Specials Plus toys are £1 more than the blind bag pocket money Fi?ures, but they also include more accessories, and the packaging shows the consumer what they get. For example, the Zoo Keeper character comes with exotic birds, while the Flight Attendant figure is accompanied with a service cart.

Jamie Dickinson, marketing manager for Playmobil, told ToyNews: “Specials Plus adds another dimension to the pocket money and collectibles ranges.

“Of course, like their predecessors, they offer excellent value for money, but for just £1 more, you get a lot of extra elements, which means we are able to offer a great selection.”
