Hasbro has launched a new national resource for teachers and education practitioners in the nursery sector, the Play-Doh Teach & Play hub.

The website aims to align with Play-Doh’s commitment to actively support the Early Years Foundation Stage, EYFS curriculum.

The launch of the Teach & Play hub follows the Play-Doh brand's work with pilot nurseries in 2015 and will work to inspire imaginations in the classroom, providing both caregivers and teaching professionals with a diverse range of downloadable content.

The learning resource is available at www.playdohteachandplay.co.ukand offers nurseries the chance to sign up for membership to open up further access to exciting content and videos. Everyone who registers will receive exclusive Play-Doh resource folders and work cards in addition to the online content.

“We’re really excited to introduce the Play-Doh Teach & Play resources into our groups, and get the children involved in all the creative activities," said Nicola Farquhar, Early Years Practitioner.

"The Play-Doh brand has a fantastic way of inspiring imaginations, and we look forward to weaving these resources into our teaching to encourage learning and development.”

Craig Wilkins, Marketing Director Hasbro UK & Ireland, added: “We’re always on the look-out for new ways to encourage children’s creativity using Play-Doh compound. Opening up the opportunities within nurseries provides us with the chance to further explore the benefits of using Play-Doh compound in an educational environment. Creativity is very important in aiding children’s development so we’re delighted to continue to give nurseries an interactive learning experience.”
