Character Options has been granted the rights to create a range of Peppa Pig Weebles figures and playsets by Hasbro.

In a multi-territory deal, the Weebles toys will be available in spring 2014 with the first in the range being Peppa Pig, her brother George and her friends.

The launch line-up will include a train, car, feature playsets and Peppa Pig Weeble figures 'that will wobble but never fall down'.

“The classic Weebles brand is ripe for bringing into the modern era of favourite character toys," said Jon Diver, joint managing director of Character Group.

"Our debut range of Peppa Pig Weebles is absolutely perfect for our launch as it combines one of most loved character licences with a brand that is already highly regarded and recognised by the principle buyer – the parents.

"What’s more, in creating this collection we have also been able to extend the appeal of our Peppa Pig range to a wider and younger audience without diluting the sales potential of our current master toy collection.”
