Jumbo Games has secured a licence with BBC Worldwide for the classic show Only Fools and Horses.

The agreement will see Jumbo produce a Falcon and a Wasjig 1,000-piece puzzle, which will hit stores in 2013. The new puzzles will aim to capture classic moments from the show, which has the record for the highest ever UK audience for a sitcom episode.

“We are absolutely delighted to be working with BBC Worldwide to produce a range of Only Fools and Horses puzzles,” said Gray Richmond, MD of Jumbo Games. “As one of the most popular and acclaimed British TV shows of all time, the puzzles are set to be a real hit with all ages and a great source of family entertainment. The iconic and much loved British sitcom is still hugely popular today and we’re confident that the range will sell really well among devoted puzzlers and fans of the hit TV series.

“We expect it to be as successful as our current licensed titles Coronation Street and Carry On puzzles.”

In addition, further extending its adult offering, Jumbo is also introducing a new puzzle range which will feature the emerging painter James Milroy’s art.

Products will include two 625-piece puzzles, which will be hitting stores from September.

Richmond continued: “It is very exciting to be collaborating with an artist of this standing.
“There’s no puzzle concept like this on the market at present and we’re sure his accessible and entertaining artworks depicting modern life will appeal to puzzlers and art lovers alike.”
