Tomy CEO Robert Mann has already raised over £6,000 for the Toy Trust, having completed this year's London Marathon in six hours, 30 minutes and 50 seconds.

He commented: "The 'race' was a great experience and the crowds were fantastic. Unfortunately, at mile 14 my knee went and I was forced to hobble the remaining 12 miles - being overtaken by five rhinos, two guys in a red bus, a soldier with a fridge on his back and a gentleman supporting a testicular cancer charity in rather interesting fancy dress...

"Would I do it again? No chance - the training has nearly killed me and I have lost any friends I had by my constant demands for money."

Mann would like to thank all those who have sponsored him so far. Individuals can still pledge money through Virgin Money Giving by clicking here. Corporate cheques payable to the Toy Trust should be sent c/o Pat Biggin at Tomy UK, St Nicholas House, St Nicholas Road, Sutton, Surry SM1 1EH.
