The agreement extends ToyNews’ coverage to include improved category analysis, more detailed sector trends and also extends NPD’s licensing data to sister site Licensing.biz.
Jez Fraser-Hook, director of NPD’s toy business, said: "NPD are very happy to continue to work hand in hand with ToyNews to provide quality insight into the challenging UK toy market. We hope that readers continue to find something of interest among the new articles and information to be provided."
NPD has had a partnership with leading entertainment and leisure trade publisher Intent Media for eight years. But this deal is the biggest yet, covering more content and stretching across two of Intent's leading brands.
"This extended deal with NPD highlights our commitment to providing readers with high quality information in print and online," said publisher Stuart Dinsey.
"The partnership further underlines our market leadership position, which is proven by everything from ABC and Google Analytics stats to word of mouth.
There is more to come too, including an iPhone business app for execs on the move and an expansion of our contract publishing and business networking solutions."
Intent Media also publishes the leading trade titles for markets such as video games, home computing, musical instruments, mobile content, live sound and cycling.
