Creators of Me to You, Carte Blanche Greetings, has signed Worlds Apart to expand the brand within the toy sector.

Me to You began as a successful range of greeting cards, and now Carte Blanche says the brand has a global retail value of over $1 billion, selling over 70 million Me to You plush bears since 1995.

Speaking about the opportunity, Lucy Wynn Jones, head of licensing at Worlds Apart, said: “The demand for Me to You gift merchandise from younger girls is already huge - by actively marketing and creating a new range of collectable toys and play-sets within our toy market we are simply satisfying the demand that's already there.”

Lucy continued: “We could not be more excited about working with Carte Blanche on this opportunity, and expanding our product offering within the girls’ category.”

Sarah Quigley, CBG licensing manager, said: “Carte Blanche is delighted to be working with Worlds Apart to turn the concept into reality.

"Me to You and My Blue Nose Friends are all about friendship, fun and sharing. We’re confident that Worlds Apart will translate these values into innovative, imaginative and irresistible toys.”
