BBC News has run an article about the rising popularity of playground crazes and pocket money toys, highlighting Lego's Minifigures and Vivid's Moshlings.

Meanwhile, The Sun has picked the top '20 toys for under a tenner'. The feature nominated ten toys for boys, including Minifigures, Cars 2 Assortment, WWE Action Figures and Bakugan, and ten toys for girls, including Barbie Triple Pack, Polly Pocket and Moshlings.

Immediately following the Dream Toys, The Guardian found the cheapest prices for each of the toys in the Dream Dozen, making families an overall saving of £128.97.
