Moose Toys recalls Little Live Pets Lil Frog due to hazards

The firm received reports of the battery's cap becoming a projectile and batteries leaking.

Moose Toys is recalling its Lil' Frog toy from the Little Live Pets line after receiving reports of chemical and injury hazards.

The toy, that operates with four battery-powered buttons and jumps around, has been known to eject the battery cap unexpectedly, causing it to become a projectile as well battery leaks that have caused an emergency room visit due to eye irritation.

The manufacturer asks consumers to immediately stop using the toy frogs, refrain from opening the battery compartment and contact Moose Toys for a free replacement Little Live Pet product.
