Manny Stul, the man behind popular collectables brand Shopkins, has entered the Forbes list of world billionaires.

Stul made his debut on the list with an estimated fortune of $1.4 billion, which sees him rub shoulders with the likes of Bill Gates, Amazon’s Jeff Bezoz and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

He originally made his fortune when he took control of Australia’s Moose Toys over 20 years ago.

Forbes wrote: “New Australian billionaire Manny Stul may not be a familiar name yet, but his popular Shopkins, grocery-inspired plastic collectibles with names like Kris P. Lettuce and Posh Pear, are a huge hit with American kids.”
