MGA Entertainment promotes Nicola Mellor to senior brand manager

In addition to working on the Bratz range, Mellor will now be responsible for Num Noms and Gel-A-Peel.

MGA Entertainment has promoted Nicola Mellor from brand manager to senior brand manager.

Mellor joined the company in 2013 working on the Little Tikes portfolio, and moved across to the dolls side of the business in 2014 where she secured a high-profile role leading the UK and EMEA re-launch of Bratz.

“Nicola was instrumental in the re-launch of Bratz last year, working closely with colleagues across the globe to ensure a coherent, joined up strategy," said MGAE’s UK MD Andrew Laughton.

"We’re delighted to announce her promotion to senior brand manager, a testament to her commitment and ability.”

In addition to working on the Bratz range, Mellor will now be responsible for collectable property Num Noms as well as Gel-A-Peel, an arts and crafts brand set to launch later this year.

A graduate of Cardiff University, Mellor has also been named in ToyNews's Top Women in Toys 2015 list and this year's 30 Under 30 line-up.
