MGA adds new head of marketing

Former LeapFrog exec Jo Body takes on newly created role for firm.

MGA Entertainment has expanded its team with the addition of a new head of marketing in the form of Jo Body.

Body (pictured) was previously director of pre-school marketing at LeapFrog's US head office, but has made the switch to Milton Keynes to take on the newly created role for MGA.

She will be responsible for driving awareness of new product launches and building the strength of existing brands such as Lalaloopsy, Bratz, Zapf Creation and Little Tikes.

"This is an outstanding opportunity for me to utilise the marketing skills I gained working with LeapFrog in both the UK and US," said Body. "MGA has some fantastic existing brands and there are some exciting new launches on the horizon, so I'm really thrilled to be coming into the company at such an opportune time."

Andrew Laughton, MD of MGA UK, added: "We have been looking to make this appointment for a little while and Jo's return to the UK has worked our perfectly for us - we are very happy to be welcoming her to the management team."
