Mega Brands will bring the popular blind format to the world of jigsaws when it launches its new Skylanders Giants Blind Pack puzzles this October.

In the Mega Puzzles line an assortment of six jigsaws are available and each one features a mystery character for kids to discover.

“The brand new blind packs not only provide an exciting real-time alternative to the online game, but the new puzzle format is an innovative introduction to the market, offering a unique buildable and highly collectable play solution,”
Pete Fuller, marketing manager at Mega Brands UK told ToyNews.

In addition to the Blind Pack series the Mega Puzzles Skylanders Giant range, aimed at puzzlers and over sixes, includes four other lines based on the highly anticipated toy/video game hybrid.

The Collect & Connect Puzzles are uniquely designed for display. There are six 80-piece jigsaws in the collection that can be connected together to make one big puzzle.

Foil Puzzles are 100-piece sets featuring foil enhancements that help bring the characters to life.

The 150-piece Panoramic Puzzles are huge jigsaws which, once completed, feature a complete collection of characters from the game.

The 8 in 1 Multipack consist of eight 100-piece puzzles. The assortment includes two titles encompassing 16 characters from the game to collect.

Mega Brands has signed a multi-year global licence with Activision to make construction sets and puzzles based on Skylanders Giants.

Puzzles are due to hit shelves in October with Mega Bloks toys due in December.
