Mega Brands has announced the promotions of both Dave Martin and Mary Price to Mega Brands International. Martin, now vice president international, heads up the market management and sales across the region.
Price has become senior director of international marketing responsible for commercial and strategic planning.
Meanwhile, Mega's pre-school and kids/collector ranges continue to grow in 2012, which has created a need for a bigger interactive showroom.
With constantly expanding pre-school, girls, boys and gaming categories; the new showroom will feature a special video game area featuring Mega Brands Halo and Need for Speed ranges and, from next year, World of Warcraft - The world’s most-subscribed MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game).
The company's vision for World of Warcraft is to make the fantasy world tangible by bringing iconic locations, races and vehicles from the game to life in a construction toy line. It will be dubbed as ‘The worlds first toy line, created by the fans, for the fans’.
