Mega Brands UK welcomes new faces

Mega Brands UK has announced that Kerry Rimmer will be joining its team.

Rimmer will start work on January 28th as General National Accounts Manager responsible for the UK Sales team.

Reporting directly to Dave Martin (vice president, international), Rimmer arrives Mega Brands from her role at Mattel and prior to that she built up a broad and extensive experience through a number of sales and trade marketing roles.

Mega also welcomes two new faces to the central marketing team.

Daniel Davis joined the team on January 9th as digital marketing manager. Davis has a wealth of retail experience and has spent the last four years at Argos in ecommerce and marketing roles. Daniel also has marketing experience gained from his time at both Homebase and Dixons.

The company is also pleased to welcome Hannah Fairhurst as marketing assistant, who joins MEGA following an intense six month internship. Hannah will be working directly with european marketing manager Peter Fuller and will also support Mega Brands’ Design department.

Speaking about the appointments, Dave Martin said: “Welcoming new faces is a great way to start the New Year and we are confident Kerry will be a great asset in supporting and helping grow our busy sales team.”

“With some exciting and extensive new product lines, we also have a fast growing need to increase our European Central Marketing Team to support our range through what promises to be a strong period of growth for the company.”

Dave Martin concludes: “With the strongest line-up in our portfolio to date, 2013 Mega Brands is set for continued growth and our expanding team will be instrumental in helping ensure Mega continues to build and improve both our customer and product support as we enter this exciting times ahead.”
