Mega Brands reveals Battle Strikers plan

TV, PR and online spearhead marketing assault for firm?s Christmas hope, Battle Strikers.

Mega Brands is supporting the launch of its big hope Battle Strikers, with an extensive marketing campaign, including TV, a sponsorship deal, events, print and online PR activity.

As well as hosting a major retail and press launch in Central London at Hamleys and The Entertainer, Westfield with celebrity ambassador, George Sampson, Mega is also running 800 TVR’s in August and September across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

These will then reappear on TV in the run up to Christmas. In addition, the firm has secured a sponsorship deal with the high profile children’s TV network, Cartoon Network and is running ads during the summer months reaching its prime target audience.

Battle Striker competitions are also live on throughout the summer and there will be a substantial amount of web driving communication including banners and pop ups.

Competitions and editorial coverage are also running in popular boys comics and magazines throughout August as part of an ongoing PR campaign.

Promotions in Ben10 and Topps magazines also launched on the 27th July and as direct to consumer activity, Mega will be hosting ‘Battle Striker Turbo Testing’ in toy retailers across the UK and in holiday hot spots.
