Construction toy firm Mega Brands has launched a new microsite for parents.

The site,, contains three key areas: Growing up with Mega Bloks, Articles and Activities.

Growing up with Mega Bloks features a toy guide split by age highlighting the key developmental benefits of Mega Bloks toys while articles from developmental psychologist and child play expert Dr. Maureen O’Brien help parents uncover the hidden benefits of learning through play.

The Activities section features fun, simple, educational games and building activities designed to help children get the most out of playtime. These include how to build a gift, a reindeer, a candy cane and more out of Mega Bloks.

“Our new Parents microsite is the perfect tool to help teach parents about the different benefits of building with Mega Bloks along with lots of fun activities for them to enjoy with their children”, says Andrew Sparkes, VP of Preschool and Girls products for Mega Brands.
