Mega Brands inks deal with W!ldbrain

Firm sign an international deal for construction toys based on the pre-school television series, Yo Gabba Gabba!

Under the multi-year agreement with producer W!ldbrain, Mega has the rights to develop an assortment of construction sets, including buildable playsets based on the series. The toys will launch worldwide in Autumn 2009.

Yo Gabba Gabba! airs every day at 4pm on Nick Jr. in the UK and in several other territories, including the US, Australia, Canada, Israel, Latin America, New Zealand and South Africa.

The magazine-format series infuses retro-style and beat-driven music to teach life lessons through a world of puppet characters who play and dance as soon as they hear the magic words, "yo gabba gabba."

Michael Polis, W!ldbrain’s chief marketing officer said: "We are thrilled that Mega Brands is bringing the Yo Gabba Gabba! universe to life through construction toys that will encourage parents and children to create together.”



Mega Brands seals Nick deal

Mega Brands has inked an international licensing deal with Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) to produce toys based on three of the most popular Nick Jr. pre-school properties.
