Mega Brands boss to build Meccano

Mega Brands boss, Sue Barratt, is leaving to set up a new Meccano operation.

Barratt will be joining on October 1st having left her role as general manager of Mega Brands in the UK after working with the company for almost 10 years.

 “I am incredibly excited about this new challenge, the 2008 product range looks fantastic, and as the retailers that are already supporting Meccano know there is a huge opportunity with this great traditional brand,” she told ToyNews.

Premises for the new company are expected to be finalised shortly and the firm will be exhibiting at Toy Fair in 2008.
