The building blocks are partnering with Drayton Manor Theme Park and Day Out With Thomas.

Mega Bloks will now have a presence in Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Theme Park, sponsoring the Knapford Station ride and ‘Time to Party – A Magical Sodor Experience’ birthday events. In addition, Mega Bloks has become a commercial partner of the theme park.

Pete Fuller, marketing manager at Mega Bloks, said: "We feel as a Thomas licensee, it is important to have a strong presence in the home of Thomas and show our support and commitment to the number one pre-school property."

Thomas Land has become a destination for Thomas fans – the park's boss Colin Bryan recently told sister site that the attraction had yielded a 40 per cent rise in visitors.

Helen Pawley-Tuft, general manager of Drayton Manor, said: "The partnership with Mega Bloks allows us to reach out to a potential new audience and the synergies between our brands fit perfectly with our offering.”

Mega's third deal is with Hit Entertainment’s Day Out With Thomas - heritage railway events which are held throughout the UK. Promotions will include inflatable tunnels at entrances, giveaways, play tables, competitions, product information leaflets and banners.

David King, VP events and attractions at Hit Entertainment said: “We are delighted that Mega Bloks has agreed to work with us, and our heritage railway partners, to further develop the Day Out With Thomas family experience.

"Mega Bloks involvement as sponsors will help us to add even more fun activities and consumer value to each event,” he added.
