Mega Bloke campaign relaunched

Following the success of 2010’s inaugural Mega Bloke of the Year, Mega Brands will be running the competition again.

Pete Fuller, UK marketing manager, said: “We were so impressed by the huge response to the first Mega Bloke of the Year competition last summer that we felt really strongly about running it again."

Mums, aunts, sisters and nieces will be encouraged to nominate a Mega Bloke, who “deserves to be recognised for his integral role and support to the family,” via the MadeForMums website. 

The competition will open in time for Father’s Day and runs up until the end of August, when ten finalists will be announced. The winner will get a three night family B&B break, while runners up will recieve Mega Bloks goodies.

Fuller said: "With Father’s Day this Sunday, there is no better time for us to celebrate top blokes who are extra special when it comes to his family, while at the same time maintaining popularity with pre-school mums as the No.1 in the junior construction market."
