Mattel and Dolphin Entertainment's hotly anticipated Max Steel feature length film has been scheduled to hit screens across the US in Q4 2014.

In a multi-picture agreement with the two companies, Open Road Films will handle the distribution of the live action cinematic release.

Max Steel, produced by Dolphin Films, a new subsidiary of Dolphin Entertainment, has been written by Hollywood writer, Christopher Yost.

Created internally by Mattel, the Max Steel franchise already spans multi platform entertainment, toys and consumer products and the firm believes the new cinematic release will introduce audiences to a 'never before seen world of Max Steel'.
