Mattel nears Hit Entertainment deal?

Agreement could be sealed as early as this week for £500m, say reports.

A raft of national press reports this morning have claimed that Mattel is close to buying Hit Entertainment.

The news broke last night in a Sky News blog by Mark Kleinman, who said that Mattel could agree to buy Hit has early as this week for around £500m.
