Mattel joins forces with JDA to head up supply chain

Mattel has selected JDA Software Group to power its supply chain to help drive improvements across its end-to-end supply chain processes.

Following the appointment, JDA Manufacturing Planning and JDA Flowcasting will focus on sales and operations planning, demand planning, master planning, factory planning and customer collaboration.

“We chose JDA as our strategic supply chain partner because of the depth of their experience in consumer products and manufacturing, along with their superior capabilities in managing complex global, end-to-end supply chain processes,” said Peter Gibbons, executive VP and chief supply chain officer at Mattel.

JDA will work alongside KPMG to lead the solution design and deployment in early 2017, while JDA Cloud Services will manage the IT environment and upgrade process.
