Mattel will feature its products in prime exhibit space having previously had a private midtown showroom as well as space at the Javits Center. Bandai America previously exhibited from a midtown showroom, where it had a product lounge for media, buyers and licensors.

"On behalf of TIA, we are thrilled that Mattel and Bandai will have an increased, major presence at the 2009 Toy Fair," said TIA President, Carter Keithley.

Mattel has added more than 20,000 square feet of private exhibit space in the Galleria in addition to the 3500 square feet of space located on Level 3 at Javits where it has traditionally exhibited.

"We’re looking forward to transporting our showroom experience to Javits and being in the epicenter of New York Toy Fair next year,” said Neil Friedman, President, Mattel Brands.

Bandai America has committed to 1800 square feet of exhibit space for its first exhibit at Javits to celebrate the sale of the one hundred millionth Power Rangers action figure in the United States.

"In order to demonstrate to our buyers and licensors that Bandai America is a leader in action figures and Japanese trends, we must showcase our Fall ’09 toy line-up at Javits,” said Colleen Sherfey, Senior Director, Marketing, Bandai America. “We are committed to our licensors, to the industry and TIA, and to the media who flock to Toy Fair each year."
