Marbel Toys and Brio have partnered with the Izziwizzi Kids Play Fest which takes place online.
The Play Fest will encourage families to speak up about how the Brio brand and its products are perceived within the UK market. It will occur on Tuesday, July 10th and on Thursday, July 12th, from 8.30pm to 10pm, via the hashtag #PlayFest.
The online event has been supported by a 21-day marketing campaign inviting parents to participate on Twitter and Facebook.
Marbel acquired the wooden-based construction brand Brio at the start of 2011. It announced plans to launch new products in the line earlier this year.
“We are looking forward to giving the opportunity for retailers to engage directly with their target customers and get really valuable feedback,” said Marbel Toys’ marketing manager Phil Nelson.
Al Boxall-Gordon, of Buzz Internet Marketing and founder of the Izziwizzi Kids Play Fest, added: “In addition to direct engagement for toy brands and retailers with consumers, we are excited to be working with Brio, as this style of Play Fest offers an unique opportunity to gather consumer insights into various aspects of point-of-sale marketing. This is valuable for toy brands, retailers and consumers alike.”
