A limited edition Trask Pack figure which retails for just 83 pence has sold for over £1,000 on eBay.

Grimy Gold was discovered by ten year old Lewis Eeles from Cambridgeshire when he opened a new series three Trash Pack bin. He placed the Trashie on eBay, with bids of up to $500 immediately received from America.

These went up to over £700, before a collector from Australia made a last minute bid of £1,296.

"It's remarkable how much this limited edition figure sold for, but it shows just how collectable The Trash Pack is," said Anne Marie Noon, marketing manager at GP Flair. "We have heard of high amounts that other limited editions have previously earned, but never as high as this.

"The find is also perfectly timed for the brand as it also coincides with the delivery of our schools campaign. With 75,000 figures being distributed through primary schools next week, who knows what rare figure will be found next."
