The LEGO Group has appointed a new senior director head of sales for the UK and Ireland.
From May 1st, Inge Ostergaard Jorgensen will be responsible for further developing LEGO UK’s commercial strategy, working closely with retail partners to unlock future business opportunities.
Jorgensen has been at the LEGO Group for over ten years and has held a number of different leadership roles within product and marketing development, consumer marketing agency and most recently as the senior director head of marketing for the Nordic, Benelux and Baltic region.
“We are extremely pleased to announce that Inge Ostergaard Jorgensen has accepted this position,” said Fiona Wright, general manager and vice president of LEGO UK.
“She brings with her an abundance of strategic experience and this together with her drive and strong commercial acumen will be instrumental in building our business and brand even further in the future.”
Jorgensen added: “I am looking forward to taking on this new role within the company and I am very excited to work in a market which has such excellent LEGO potential and such highly professional retailers.”
