Consumers in 15 countries were surveyed to find out which multi-national companies had the best worldwide reputations.
The Reputation Institute's results found Disney ranked third, behind Google and Apple, and Lego came fifth.
Despite the high position of Disney and Lego, no other toy companies were present in the top 100.
"Companies need to integrate reputation management into the way they do business," said Reputation Institute executive partner Nicolas Georges Trad.
"To build a strong reputation on a global level requires a broad platform that covers all seven dimensions of reputation, including Products & Services, Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, Leadership, and Performance."
The countries polled were Australia, Brazil, Canada,China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.
