New NPD data has shown that LeapFrog is now the ninth biggest toy manufacturer in the UK, by value of goods sold.
The company has grown its total market share from 1.1 per cent to 1.5 per cent year on year, in a toy market which is down two per cent year on year.
The firm is also the fastest growing toy company in the top ten, with growth of 33 per cent year on year by value of goods sold. LeapPad2 is also the number one tablet in the market and the number one UK toy by value (NPD, YTD Week 45 2012).
On top of this, LeapFrog Explorer software is now number 14 in the total toy market, while sales of LeapFrog's Tag property grew by 23 per cent.
