LeapFrog confirms Toy Fair 2016 pull-out

The company has cited the show’s clash of dates with Nuremberg’s Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair taking place between January 27th and Febuary 1st next year as its reason for not attending.

Leapfrog has confirmed its position as the most recent company to pull out of Toy Fair 2016.

The company has cited the show’s clash of dates with Nuremberg’s Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair taking place between January 27th and Febuary 1st next year as its reason for not attending.

Despite the firm’s decision to pull out of London’s Toy Fair in 2016, LeapFrog has underlined its commitment to the UK industry and with plan to invest further in its own UK show room.

The company has also reiterated its support of the London Toy Fair.

“We can confirm that LeapFrog will no be taking part in London Toy Fair in 2016,” said Tony Hicks, chief international officer at LeapFrog.

“As a brand with an international profile, our dedicated team had to make this difficult decision to overcome the clash of dates in the complex toy show calendar next year.

“We remain utterly committed to supporting the UK industry and driving domestic sales – our independent retailers will see this first hand through our support of the next Toymaster Show.

“We will also be further investing in our UK show room to welcome even more retailers through our doors for independent previews and exciting product reveals.

“The Toy Fair team never fail to deliver a vibrant and exciting show year on year, and we wish them a successful 2016.”
