Jumbo swoops for Dutch games and puzzles specialist

Jumbo has boosted its product portfolio with the acquisition of Dutch firm King International for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will go through at the beginning of next year. King has a range of games like Tricoda (pictured) and Am I Napoleon plus a number of licensed products, including a Disney puzzle range.

Jumbo's management says the firm will be a "natural fit" with its current puzzles portfolio. King will continue to operate on a stand-alone basis with its own commercial operations.

Jumbo's UK managing director Gray Richmond, said “We are delighted to renew a long history with King and welcome them into the JumboDiset group. At present there are no plans to change either company’s ways of working and there will be no effect to trade".
