Jumbo Games says 2012 has been a superb year for the tech games sector.

The company produces iPieces app games for the iPad. These include pocket money priced Ludo and Pool (£9.99 each) and licensed games including Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam titles (£12.99 each).

iPieces was named in the Top 5 Gadget Show Live Kids Gadgets at Toy Fair 2012. The range also won Best Games App at the Junior Design Awards, as well as silver for Best Children’s App and bronze for Best Family App in the Loved By Parents Awards.

The iPieces range now consists of eight games, and is available in a host of retailers including Tesco, Asda, Carphone Warehouse, WHSmith, Toys R Us, John Lewis, Amazon, Play.com and more.

Gray Richmond, Managing Director at Jumbo Games, said: "We had a great reception from retail and consumers when we launched the original iPieces range and we’re thrilled with the performance of our latest releases – which include our first two licensed games for Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam.

"It has been a great year for innovative technology games, and we hope to use these family favourites to build on that success over Christmas and into 2013."
