The deal will commence in January 2012 and will see John Crane offer the range of Sevi wooden toys and Trudi's plush animals.

Jon Thorpe, managing director of John Crane, said: "We’ve always loved the design and quality of both Sevi and Trudi and were delighted when they chose to partner with us in the UK.

"If there was one negative comment about the collection it would have to be the pricing. However, after discussions between the companies we are pleased to announce that a more competitive pricing structure will be put in place for 2012."

The aggressive pricing plan will ensure around 20-35% discount to Sevi and Trudi lines, making the collection more affordable and extremely competitive within the sector.

Sabrina Venuti, export manager for Sevi, commented: "John Crane is a great company and we’re looking forward to working with them throughout 2012 and beyond."
