Spin Master UK is an award winning company and the local subsidiary of the third largest toy company in North America.
Reporting to the European sales and business development director, the new recruit will work across three key areas.
The first is to direct account management and development responsibilities for existing smaller distribution partners throughout Europe and Russia.
The second area of the role is to support the sales director in the management of five major European distribution partners, eg order and financial management, forecasting, NPD and POS data analysis.
Finally, the role will incorporate communication with the Toronto-based international marketing team, ensuring the latest brand information and updates are shared with distributors; management of all essential marketing materials through to distributors.
Ideal candidates will be educated to degree level and have a short, but strong track record in FMCG or the toy industry.
Applicants should also be able to focus on priorities and show great attention to detail.
Ideally, candidates will have strong commercial judgement, great forecasting and planning skills and the ability to look beyond short term business challenges.
The role will require excellent analytical, numerate and IT skills to create and use sales data to update and communicate performance, and identify market opportunities and threats.
Previous experience in export sales as well as language skills a clear advantage.
