Jazwares readies Tube Heroes for UK wide launch

Jazwares is preparing to roll out its collection of toys inspired by today’s digital media personalities, Tube Heroes to the UK’s indie retailers.

Based on nearly 40 of the world’s biggest YouTube personalities, including Captain Sparklez, Sky, AntVenom and CavemanFilms, the range features action figures, plush toys and role play accessories.

The collection will now be rolling out to the independent toy trade and national retail customers from next week.

“Digital media stars are the celebrities of this generation,” said Judd Zebersky, CEO of Jazwares. “They are real, everyday people who inspire millions of followers with their creative content and authentic commentary, and who have amassed highly engaged communities centred on their personal interests.”

Combined, the collection of 40 YouTube celebrities share a combined fan base of more than 83 million online subscribers, with over 18 billion online views.

“Tube Heroes celebrates these influential individuals and their loyal fans in a signature toy line unlike any other,” added Zebersky.

Jazwares now plans to expand to the Tube Heroes portfolio with toys inspired by social stars from arenas such as comedy, fashion and sports and is collaborating with an array of online personalities to develop a selection of new products.

“Tube Heroes will come from all corners of the digital universe,” concluded Zebersky.
