Jakks Pacific is to launch the EZPro DJ – a DJ mixing desk – into the UK toy market, backed by a heavyweight marketing campaign.
The firm says that anyone, from eight to 80, can mix and play their favourite music with the product. EZPro DJ has a patented software algorithm that automatically matches the beats across two tracks.
It features one button control for sampling and looping parts of songs, with the user then being able to seamlessly cross fade across tracks, change EQ compression, pitch or add samples and scratches.
Any headphones, speakers or IOS device can be plugged in to enhance the experience, while an app connects to the user’s music library and pulls in their stored songs.
Jakks is planning a TV campaign of over 500 TVRs and multi- level PR to back EZPro DJ.
