Golden Bear has revealed that its Twirlywoos and In The Night Garden ranges will drive the company’s success into 2016.

For example, the In the Night Garden Ninky Nonk Musical Activity Train and Talking Soft Toys have defined this year’s success for the firm.

The Ninky Nonk Train & Track Set was selected as a top item for Golden Bear, along with the Twirlywoos Big Red Boat Playset for the ‘Tots Get Busy’ Dream Toys category earlier this year.

Golden Bear has also witnessed strong sales across the Twirlywoos product lines, with the Big Red Boat Playset and the character plush Twirlytop Toodloo.

Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager at Golden Bear, said: “The enduring appeal of In The Night Garden and the success of Twirlywoos are testimony to the TV heritage and appeal of the on-screen themes. which lend themselves perfectly to the development of innovative and engaging products to delight a new generation of children.

“The engaging characterisation, everyday themes and elements found in the In the Night Garden TV programme are reflected throughout our product line, which continues to be an evergreen license for us.

“Similarly it is important that the Twirlywoos toy range conveys the essence of what the show is all about – centred around fun and play.”

The new Run-Along Twirlywoos and all of Golden Bear’s 2016 product line will be showcased at Toy Fair next year.

Pierce added: “Without a doubt 2016 will be an exciting year for Golden Bear’s Twirlywoos range, and we anticipate it going from strength to strength.”
