IMC Toys becomes latest Gormiti licensee

Giochi Preziosi and Marathon Media have signed a multi-territory deal with IMC Toys.

The new deal will see the firm create a new range of action games and toys to tie-in with the four Lords of the Nature TV series.

The range will include a remote control car, voice changer and various action games designed to recreate the fantasy world of Gormiti.

The line add to the existing toy range developed by Giochi Preziosi since the creation of Gormiti in Italy in 2005, and distributed by Flair in the UK. The IMC Toys products will be available in autumn 2010 in EMEA, Mexico and Brazil.

The Gormiti TV series is a co-production between Giochi Preziosi and Marathon Media and has been on air in Italy since autumn 2008 and has generated outstanding ratings.

From autumn 2009, the series will hit screens in the US (Cartoon Network), France (M6 and Canal J), Germany (RTL2), the UK (Nick Toons), Spain (RTVE & CN), Greece (Alter Channel), Turkey (Digi Turk), Israel (Noga), in the Middle East (MBC), Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia (TV3); Bulgaria (Nova TV) and Brazil (Globo TV). Further international broadcast sales will be announced in the next months.
