The VTech product will be available from HTI from July and is already being previewed. HTI’s showroom is now open for appointments.

HTI has been in the distribution business for over ten years and also holds an exclusive distribution deal with Mattel on its DI range, as well as Hasbro’s DI and domestic ranges.

Graham Canning, sales director at VTech, commented: “We wanted to increase our customer base but at the same time not decrease our high levels of customer service.

“We analysed the market for a partner who could deliver this and without doubt the team at HTI are best in class. The showroom and facility they have in Fleetwood, Lancashire is truly a one stop shop for toy retailers. It’s certainly worth the trip.”

HTI’s Managing Director, John Hutt said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with VTech. Their product development teams have done a fantastic job and we are thrilled to be able to service our customer base with such items as the Kidizoom Camera and of course the First Steps Baby Walker.

“Vtech’s decision is another ringing endorsement that our team delivers outstanding incremental opportunities to our partners”.

More recently HTI has signed deals with Zapf and Grosvenor and last year saw the company bolster its range with offerings from Mega Brands, Bandai, Tomy and Digital Blue.

In the last 12 months HTI has introduced the Hello Kitty toy range, an exclusive distribution deal with Blue Box and the Disney range of Soft Sports and Bubbles from SCS.

HTI’s showroom is already open for appointments and their sales teams are contacting customers directly.
