Hornby supports Scalextric on TV

Hornby is launching six new TV ads to support its Scalextric brand in a £1 million campaign.

The adverts have been created by WAA and were written and directed by the firm’s creative director, Henry Becket.

The campaign, which will be online as well as on national TV until Christmas, will feature the new Scalextric Digital range and ‘Street Sliderz’.

Paul Chandler, Scalextric marketing manager, said: “WAA’s new ads for the Scalextric brand really project the energy and excitement of the cars as well as the advanced technology of the products, such as drifting and digital lane changing.”

Henry Becket, creative director at WAA added: “We’ve worked closely with Scalextric to deliver a series of inventive and highly contemporary commercials which reinforce the high quality and originality for which the brand is known.”
